un-tethered

Everyone else wants to be floating
As I'm desperately gripping the ground
I might fall up and fly away
They jump, to feel as they fall down
I know I seek control
I imagine they want freedom
For both, our desire evades us
They stare up, I stare down
Both un-tethered and hovering
But aiming for different destinations.
